Director of Communications. Certified Yoga Instructor and I-CAYT Therapist.  Heather has a Master’s Degree in Communication and over a decade of experience in the publishing and marketing industries. As much as she loves creative marketing and developing brand strategy, she also enjoys teaching yoga and advocating sustainable fitness. Heather teaches her own unique blend of Vinyasa Yoga, Yoga Therapy, and Strength Training.  Her personal philosophy is that exercise should build your body up instead of gradually wearing it down. Exercises should be chosen for their long-term benefit to the body and designed to build on each other. The results are less injuries and reduced wear and tear on the body, plus a noticeably stronger sense of wellness.

Elisha Chan, Founder Elisha C.

Elisha C. is an ethical brand on a mission to end poverty through job creation. She found her passion while traveling on many Haiti trips as a student at UCLA. She currently works with many artisans and producers throughout Haiti, while doing philanthropy work in a small village called Fond Doux, Haiti. She has since established a Scholarship Program, sending underprivileged youth to school, from preschool to university.  She serves as a board member of Fair Trade LA, a nonprofit to educate and inspire consumers to embrace fair trade products so global farmers and artisans have the opportunity to earn a fair and sustainable living.

Amy Bond, co-founder Lucy & Jo

Amy first traveled to Kenya at 19 to study wildlife biology and immediately fell in love with the culture and the use of adornment to record and pass down stories. In graduate school, she returned to Africa studying gorillas and primate conservation but couldn't ignore her love of the people or the potential of their art as a pathway out of poverty. She left grad school to pursue market-based solutions to social challenges working in fair trade, start-ups and non-profits for 15 years before starting Lucy & Jo in 2015. Lucy & Jo works with nearly 100 artisans across Uganda and Kenya and has a formal partnership with the non-profit, Gorilla Doctors, donating 5% of every sale.

She has since developed a passion for sharing her story and inspiring others to take care of their own health through motivating us on a daily basis with healthier food choices & choosing ‘self care’ as a priority over on her feed @BeachLifeOrganic. She has also joined forces with a team of super-foodies over at www.SuperLife.com to keep spreading the message of health and inspiring others to live their version of their healthiest life with a deeper understanding of nutrition through superfoods.
