Bear Necessities Earrings Blue

Half Moon Earrings

We always have the best luck finding cute jewelry at Ten Thousand Villages! These Half Moon Earrings from the Philippines keep that luck running strong! Made through Ten Thousand Villages’ artisan partner SAFFY, Inc., these feature capiz shell. Artisans wash and soak the thin shells before cutting them into shape and edging them with wire in a labor-intensive process. Before glass windows became available in the Philippines, capiz was used for windows in houses!

Spin A Tale Earrings

You kind of what to keep staring at these with all the intricate knots and beautiful beading! These earrings were handmade in Nepal by artisans working with Nepal Knotcraft Centre. Taking inspiration from Nepal’s rich natural and cultural beauty and building on traditional skills, the Centre provides training and employment to women from across the country.

Tranquil Earrings

Bold and geometric, the Tranquil earrings add shimmer and shine to any occasion, but they also create opportunity and are made fairly by survivors of human trafficking. We appreciate that these are statement-worthy pieces while still being light as air. These are a part of the “Hope Line” which consists of introductory pieces made by our new artisans, and it tells a powerful story of fresh beginnings.
